Outfit your small to medium business network with exceptional speed and versatility with the QGD-1602P-C3558-8G 16-Port Multi-Gigabit PoE++ Compliant Managed Switch from QNAP, which combines the functionality of a high-performance managed network switch with a network attached storage (NAS) enclosure to support multiple virtual machines, along with SD-WAN configurations through a single device. Equipped with dual 2.2 GHz Intel Atom C3558 quad-core processors and 8GB of DDR4 memory, the QGD-1602P-C3558-8G delivers fast and reliable performance with a 96 Gb/s switching capacity and 48 Gb/s non-blocking throughput. Its 16 PoE-compliant RJ45 ports are comprised of eight 30W Gigabit Ethernet ports, four 30W 2.5GbE ports, and four 90W 2.5GbE ports with a total power budget of 200W to operate advanced security cameras, Wi-Fi 6 access points, VoIP phones, and other power-intensive devices. Additionally, there are two 10GbE SFP+ ports for high-speed fiber uplinks.

For storage, the QGD-1602P-C3558-8G supports up to two 2.5" SATA drives to host virtual machines and other demanding applications. Installing up to two M.2 solid-state cache or storage pool drives helps to enhance the network device's efficiency and performance. Two PCIe 3.0 x4 slots are also available for compatible expansions such as wireless network adapters, M.2 SSD adapters, and high-speed USB cards.

More than a Switch

The QGD-1602P-C3558-8G can directly host up to six virtual machines and multiple applications in addition to being an all-in-one solution for surveillance, storage expansion, network security, and wireless LAN management. The managed switch and NAS enclosure each have a dedicated 2.2 GHz Intel Atom C3558 quad-core processor to efficiently perform their respective functions.
